Keep the NBN rolling out

Tony Abbott and the Liberals are pulling the plug on the NBN fibre rollout on the Central Coast. This means local residents and businesses will miss out on superfast fibre broadband and instead will be forced to rely on last century’s copper for their internet.

Join my fight to keep the NBN rolling out on the Coast by signing my petition below. By working together we can help stop the Liberals and save the NBN rollout.

Fttn only benefits foxtel and telstra owners . Not Australians! We all wants and needs fibre to the home .

Give us fibre to the home, not your inferior fibre to the node.

The NBN is too important for Australians to be used as a political football. Like all resources and major infrastructure projects, the NBN belongs to the people in Australia and none of the politicians have a right to trade them in our name.

Australia needs honest politicians working for the benefit of all, not just the powerful and greedy.

The NBN using full optic fibre, not some fibre and some rotting out copper, should be available to all residences and businesses so make Australia a leader in world communication.

FTTN – very shorted sighted decision. Glad that Tony wasn’t around when the Harbour Bridge was being built!

Telstra big pond is the only option in this area of the central coast, it has been slower than usual lately (since the nbn to the node trial in Umina) Telstra advised by letter they had increased the speed here, but this is not my experience, I believe Hardys Bay also is the same.

Unfortunately my wife just censored my comments for being too crude, as a sign of respect for the readers, not for the government.

Here’s one (or two) for you. Why has the NBNCo site have Narara shown as work started in May 2013 when the cable laying was actually started in September 2012? (I watched it being laid). N.B. It’s now September 2014, two years after work was started and still no NBN. Why has Tumbi Umbi now have fibre NBN when they already had ADSL2 and Narara has to put up with “mobile broadband” (which isn’t really broadband at all).

I run a medium-sized home office based company on the NSW Central Coast and the full NBN rollout would revolutionise my business.
