About Deb

Deb and her husband moved to the Coast 28 years ago, and they have never moved away. They have raised their children Caitlin, Brianna and Noah in Bensville and Copocabana. Deb and her family are proud to call the coast their home.

Before becoming a Senator, Deb was the Federal Member of Parliament for Robertson, worked as a lecturer at the University of Newcastle Central Coast Campus and was a teacher in local schools. Deb and her husband also built a family business that has provided jobs for local people for over 20 years.

Deb believes that your views matter. Since becoming an MP in 2010, and now as a Senator, Deb has been out in our community speaking with locals and listening to their concerns. Deb has knocked on thousands of local doors and held mobile offices across the Coast. Deb loves working hard to represent you in Parliament and delivering for the Coast.
